10th of June is a big day for Huawei Malaysia as they will be launching its flagship Ascend P7 smart phone and the compact MediaPad X1 tablet. Apart from these 2 devices, Huawei will be launching its TalkBand B1 which is basically a water resistant bluetooth headset that doubles up as a sports band.
During our hands-on with the TalkBand B1 in Barcelona, it feels really cheap and it is far cry from other smart wearables we’ve seen so far. It was listed at 99 Euros which should be around RM400 when it gets here. The Bluetooth headset has a 1.4″ OLED display for showing basic information and is rated to last 6 days from its tiny 90mAh battery. It connects using Bluetooth with NFC Pairing and has water and dust resistance rated at IP57.
Check out our brief hands-on with the TalkBand B1 after the break.
