Double the juice for the Xperia Z1 with Mugen Power Battery Case

If the Sony Xperia Z1‘s 3,000mAh capacity battery life isn’t enough, here comes a solution from Mugen Power. They have just announced a special battery case for the Xperia Z1 which offers double the battery life with its 3,000mAh capacity Lithium Polymer battery. Over at the back, it comes with battery level LED indicators and the case also doubles up as an added protection for the Z1’s glass back cover. The battery case connects using the Xperia Z1’s dock connector located on the left.

From our experience, the Xperia Z1 is capable of pushing all day usage on moderate use, so going for 2 days straight on this shouldn’t be an issue. Like any battery case, it will add more bulk to the overall thickness but it is worth it if you’re constantly on the go without any access to power outlets.

The Xperia Z1 Battery Case will go on sale on 22nd February and it is priced at US$89.50. Mugen Power accepts international orders and it comes with 1 year warranty.
