This is the first Nexus device to come in striking red, making a total of 3 colours to choose from including the current Black & White units. In terms of specs, it remains unchanged with a 4.95″ Full HD IPS display and runs on the current top notch 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. The Nexus 5 runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat and you can be sure for quicker updates like other Nexus device. In terms of availability, the red Nexus 5 will go on sale on Google Play in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Korea. European markets are expected to receive them by end of this month. For those who can’t wait, the red Nexus 5 will go on sale in the UK tomorrow Carphone warehouse outlets. You can expect local grey importers to start selling the red Nexus 5 considering LG Malaysia isn’t offering the Nexus 5 officially yet.
