Motorola introduces new RAZR M and RAZR HD

Motorola has announced a few new additions to its Motorola RAZR family. First up is the new Motorola RAZR M which they are calling it a full-screen phone with its 4.3″ Edge to Edge Super AMOLED display that does qHD resolution of 960×540. Powering the device is a dual-core 1.5GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage which is expandable with micro SD.

Over at the back, the RAZR M also comes with a Kevlar back albeit it doesn’t have a ultra slim profile like the popular RAZR. It uses a 8MP camera with Full HD resolution at the rear with a VGA camera at the front. The RAZR M is generously juiced up with a 2,000mAh battery and has an overall thickness of 8.3mm and it weighs 126grams. Word has it that there’s another variant of RAZR M that runs on Intel’s ATOM chipset which will be coming to the UK.

Next up is the Motorola RAZR HD which comes with a large 4.7″ Super AMOLED display that does 1280×720 pixels resolution. That gives a pixel density of 312ppi. Internally it runs on a dual-core Qualcomm S4 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 12GB of onboard storage with micro SD expansion. In the imaging department, it also has a 8MP main camera but comes with a higher 1.3MP front facing camera. Motorola is packing a bigger than usual 2,530mAh battery as well that allows all day usage. The RAZR HD has an overall thickness of 8.4mm and it weighs 146grams. Similar to the RAZR M, the RAZR HD also has a Kevlar back and it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly bean.

In the US, there’s the Motorola RAZR HD MAXX which comes with an ultra long 3,300mAH battery. With that extra bulk in battery, the RAZR HD MAXX weighs 157 grams and has a respectable thickness of 9.3mm.
