With a 5MP 3MP rear-facing camera, the sample pictures here show that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 runs circles around the pathetic 1MP rear-camera on the iPad 2. Although while the detail of the pictures taken using the main camera on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is good, the colour saturation is too washed out for our liking.
In terms of video quality, the Galaxy Tab wins in the details department against the iPad 2, but like the sample pictures, we think the colour saturation in the sample video is washed out as well.
Said to be priced competitively to its main competitor, Samsung’s debut foray into the 10-inch tablet market is poised to give Apple a run for its money.
Check out more pictures and a sample video right after the jump.
