In China, there’s a special place for people who like to type and walk

So many people are typing and walking at the same time in mainland China that a city thinks that its necessary to create sidewalk lanes specifically for the chronic walk-and-typer.

The city in question is Chongqing and the street in which this particular sidewalk is located is called “Foreigner Street”. I’m not sure if this is a good idea and I sure hope it doesn’t catch on here. It’s bad enough that our drivers are crap at driving, now we have people walking and not looking where they are going.

Speaking of which, what will China come up with next? A special lane on its highway specifically for drivers who need to text and drive? Let’s hope not.
