ChargEV has turned on new 60kW DC Chargers located at Lexus and Toyota dealerships.

The rollout is part of UMWT’s initiative to expand public EV charging facilities at Toyota and Lexus outlets as part of its multi-pathway approach towards electrified mobility.

For a limited time, ChargEV is also offering a promo discount for a limited time.

ChargEV has deployed a 60kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles at Lexus Subang Jaya in Selangor and Toyota Autocity Ayer Keroh in Melaka.

These chargers are priced at RM1.30 per kWh and can be activated via ChargEV, JomCharge and Gentari Go app.

For the first 3 days, you can enjoy 20% discount at the new EV charging locations. Just apply the promocode LXSUB26 (until 11pm 23 October) for Lexus Subang Jaya and TYTAK26 (until 11pm 24 October) for Toyota Ayer Keroh.

UMWT to rollout more EV chargers at Lexus and Toyota outlets

In collaboration with chargEV and JomCharge, UMWT aims to roll out a total of 42 public EV charging points across 21 locations in phases during the first half of 2027. This includes 38 charging points at 19 locations operated by chargEV, while the remaining four charging points at two locations will be operated by JomCharge.

According to UMWT, seven sites have been completed so far, with the remaining locations to be rolled out in stages. The charging facilities are open to all EV brands, not just Toyota and Lexus vehicles, and participating locations can be found through the respective chargEV and JomCharge apps.

Besides the newly added chargEV locations at Lexus Subang Jaya and Toyota Autocity in Ayer Keroh, other Lexus locations identified for the charging network include Klang/Sungai Rasah, Mutiara Damansara, Sungai Besi, Penang, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
