The Huawei Watch GT 7 series have finally arrived in Malaysia. The Huawei Watch GT 7 comes in 2 variants: 46mm and 41mm, alongside the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro.
These watches come with Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis and the Physical Readiness Score. It also comes with AI-XDR Positioning, Segment Navigation, Route Back, offline maps and GPX route import, with Strava integration. Unfortunately, the standard variant lacks ECG and Depth Sensor.
Both the standard and Pro models have apps such as Tennix for tennis, PickleX for pickleball and Goodshot for badminton. Notably, these watches come with Touch’n Go QR Payment, run HarmonyOS 6.1, and they are compatible with both Android and iOS.

Huawei Watch GT 7 Specs and Features
Like the Huawei Watch GT 6, the Huawei Watch GT 7 series retain its round design and features a 1.32″ and 1.47″ AMOLED display up to 3,000 nits with stainless‑steel fronts.
These are the sensors included in the Huawei Watch GT 7, they are Accelerometer sensor, Gyroscope sensor, Magnetometer sensor, Optical heart rate sensor, Barometer sensor, Temperature sensor, and Ambient light sensor

Huawei claims the 46mm variant offers up to 21 days of battery life (Under casual usage), while the 41mm variant could provide up to 14 days.
Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro Specs And Features
Meanwhile, the Pro version is only available in one size. This model comes in a 1.47″ AMOLED display with Titanium Alloy case.
The Pro variant expands on the ECG, Arterial Stiffness Assessment. Morning briefings, Emotional Wellbeing 2.0, sleep and women’s health tracking, Huawei Health app wellness tools, and on-wrist Health Community.
This model features advanced golf features including Plays-like Distance and Shot Distance tracking as well as freediving up to 40 metres.

Diabetes Risk Study
According to Huawei, the Huawei Watch GT 7 series comes with the Diabetes Risk Study feature. This is a research initiative led by Universiti Malaya.
Essentially, this feature uses pulse-wave signals collected by the watch’s PPG sensor together with information such as age, gender, height and weight to assess potential diabetes risk after three to 14 days of continuous wear.
However, Huawei added that this assessment aimed to raise awareness for its users and encourage them to seek professional medical advice. It is not meant to diagnose diabetes.
