MyTown Shopping Centre is becoming a major EV charging hub with the latest deployment by ChargeSini.
The Charge Point Operator has added 8 more DC charge points at the basement car park capable of pushing up to 60kW.
As part of its introductory promo, they are offering 50% discount for these chargers for this weekend only.
ChargeSini’s new EV chargers at MyTown are located at Level B1 Pillar E (Row 22). They have deployed two units of 60kW and two units of 40kW equipped with two CCS2 nozzles, which provide a total of 8 bays.
The 60kW DC Chargers are priced at RM1.29 per kWh while 40kW units are priced at RM1.19 per kWh as per recent price adjustments. You can reserve and activate the charger via the ChargeSini app.
Take note there’s a minimum charge of RM5.00 and ChargeSini also imposes an idle fee (aka High Occupancy Fee) of RM1.00 per 5 minutes if you do not move your vehicle 30 minutes after charging has ended. The High Occupancy Fee only kicks in if over 50% of the charging bays are occupied.
In case you missed it, ChargeSini has previously deployed EV chargers at Level B2 Pillar R14 and they are pricier. The 40kW DC unit is priced at RM1.49 per kWh while the 22kW AC Charge Point is priced at RM1.30 per kWh
For this weekend on 26th and 27th September, ChargeSini is offering 50% discount for EV charging at their new MyTown DC chargers in Level B1.
