Xiaomi isn’t the only brand launching a mid-range smartphone with a power bank sized battery. Vivo Malaysia is set to launch the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia which also comes with a massive 10,000mAh battery.
According to Vivo, this is its largest smartphone battery yet powered by fourth-generation silicon anode technology and Magic Cube Battery Packaging.
Despite the large battery capacity, Vivo says the V80 Lite 5G still retains a slim form factor. In addition, the smartphone is said to be designed for Malaysia’s hot weather as it claims to be able to maintain stable power at temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius.
V80 Lite 5G has the biggest battery for a global Vivo smartphone
Besides its huge battery, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G supports reverse charging, allowing the phone to function as a power bank by providing power to other devices.
To keep the device cool, the device features a 3.8K Ultra Large VC Cooling System. There’s also a Battery Life Extender feature which is said to keep essential functions running when the battery level is low.
For full specs have not been revealed yet but Vivo Malaysia confirms that the V80 Lite 5G will come with a 6.83-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. It will be offered in three colours: Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green and Dawn Black.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Malaysia launch happening on 3 September
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G will officially launch in Malaysia on 3 September 2026. As part of its early bird offer, you can pre-book the device for only RM5 to win exclusive vouchers and a chance to get the phone for free.
Customers who pre-book will receive a RM10 off eVoucher for the Vivo V80 Lite and one lucky draw ticket to win prizes.
According to Vivo’s official page, customers can start to pre-order the V80 Lite at 6pm on 3rd September 2026 and the device will be available during its first day sale on 12th September 2026.
If you pre-order, early bird customers will get priority delivery for the Vivo V80 Lite. In addition, Vivo Malaysia is also offering pre-order gifts which include a small projector and a bundled freebies which include a Backpack, V Selection Earbuds and a Card holder.
