Charge+ has turned on its first EV charging location in Sungai Petani with has a total of 4 EV charging bays.

The latest EV charging station is located at Murtadha Dakwah Centre (MADAD) which is a community hub which offers family-friendly amenities such as Edukidz, Taman Kucing MADAD and eSport Stadium.

The location is open 24/7 and there’s no parking fees required.

For this new location at MADAD, Charge+ has deployed a 40kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles and 2x 22kW AC Charge Points.

The DC charger is priced at RM1.25 per kWh while the AC charge points are priced at RM1.00 per kWh.

You can activate these Charge+ chargers using the Charge+ app which requires you to top up the built-in wallet.

Alternatively, you can also use TNG eWallet’s EV Charging mini programme to activate the charger. However, take note that a minimum wallet balance of RM150 is required for pre-authorisation and the unused balance will be refunded after charging is completed.
