Marshall has officially introduced its fourth-generation home audio speakers in Malaysia, debuting the Acton IV and Stanmore IV.
Retaining the brand’s signature analogue aesthetic, both active stereo models feature redesigned acoustic drivers, bottom-routed power cables for wall-flush placement, added analogue RCA connectivity, high-bitrate LDAC codec support, and Auracast multi-speaker pairing.

Acoustic overhaul, wall-flush placement, and tactile controls

Both models receive upgraded 0.75-inch tweeters paired with new waveguides to disperse audio more evenly across larger rooms and improve stereo separation.
Marshall acoustic engineers have also redesigned the bass reflex port into a more aerodynamic structure for cleaner low-end response at higher volumes. Relocating cable connections to the underside of the cabinet allows both units to sit flush against walls without pinching wires or degrading bass output.

Dynamic Loudness automatically adjusts tonal balance across volume levels to preserve clarity during quiet listening, supported by updated limiters to prevent distortion at high output.
The top brass control panel retains rotary knobs for volume, bass, and treble, alongside an updated media jog wheel, signature toggle power switch, and a new customisable M-button.
The M-button can be assigned via the Marshall companion app to trigger custom EQ presets or launch Spotify Tap instantly. The app also offers room placement calibration to adjust acoustics based on speaker positioning.
Acton IV technical specifications

The compact Acton IV operates on a total power output of 110W Class D amplification.
Low frequencies are handled by a single 4-inch woofer driven by a 60W Class D amplifier, paired with two 25W Class D amplifiers driving twin 0.75-inch tweeters.
It delivers a frequency response of 37Hz to 38kHz and achieves a maximum output of 95 dB SPL at 1 metre. The unit measures 260 x 171 x 150mm and weighs 2.65kg.
Stanmore IV technical specifications

The larger Stanmore IV features a 5-inch woofer powered by a 60W Class D amplifier alongside twin 0.75-inch tweeters driven by two 25W Class D amplifiers.
The expanded cabinet architecture enables a deeper frequency response ranging from 36Hz to 38kHz, pushing maximum acoustic output to 97 dB SPL at 1 metre.
The Stanmore IV measures 350 x 203 x 185mm and weighs 4.0kg.
Connectivity, codecs, and product longevity

Wireless connectivity moves to Bluetooth 5.3, with codec support spanning SBC, MPEG-2 AAC, LC3, and LDAC.
Integrated Auracast technology allows multi-speaker synchronisation across multiple rooms via Marshall’s Heddon streaming hub.
On the analogue side, both speakers feature a 3.5mm AUX input alongside a newly added dedicated RCA input for connecting vinyl record players and external audio sources.

In terms of build and sustainability, the cabinets utilise FSC 100%-certified MDF wood, accounting for 34% of the Acton IV’s total weight and 46% of the Stanmore IV’s total weight.
Recycled plastics and metals make up 13% of the Acton IV and 16% of the Stanmore IV by weight. To extend product lifespan, Marshall offers official replaceable spare parts, including knobs, feet, and front grilles, through its website alongside authorised repair services.
