U Mobile has introduced a new prepaid plan designed specifically for tourists in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026.
The new ULTRA5G Tourist Plan offers 100GB of high-speed data for seven days for RM15, and it is claimed to be the first Malaysian telco to bundle a dedicated tourist SIM with Grab’s Visit Malaysia 2026 Travel Pass.
The launch follows U Mobile’s free 24-hour ULTRA Tourist Trial eSIM that was introduced earlier this year, which offered tourists 100GB of data for 24 hours upon arrival at selected international airports. According to U Mobile, the new paid offering was developed following strong demand and positive feedback from the earlier trial.
U Mobile ULTRA5G Tourist 100GB Plan
The U Mobile ULTRA5G Tourist SIM with 100GB of data is now going for RM15 (Normal: RM20), valid for 7 days. The data offers uncapped 5G speed and it can be used for hotspot.
Besides this plan, there are other ULTRA5G Tourist options with 10GB data for 24 hours priced at RM6, and 500GB data for 30 days priced at RM50.
However, only the ULTRA5G Tourism SIM with 100GB plan is offered with Grab’s Visit Malaysia 2026 Travel Pass which unlocks RM186 in savings.
Do note that a minimum top up of RM16 is required to activate the RM15 plan. According to the T&C, a minimum credit balance of RM15.90 is required to purchase the plan.

Extra RM186 savings with Grab Visit Malaysia 2026 Travel pass
Tourists who activate the ULTRA5G Tourist 100GB plan will receive a Grab Visit Malaysia 2026 Travel Pass worth up to RM186.
According to U Mobile, the pass includes 22 vouchers covering rides, food and shopping. Among the key benefits include:
- RM20 off Advanced Booking rides
- Discounts on Airport rides, GrabExec, GrabRent and Grab EV rides
- 20% off selected GrabFood deliveries and Grab Dine out restaurants
- 10% off selected GrabMart purchases
Do not use U Mobile number to sign up for Grab
After activating the ULTRA5G Tourism SIM, eligible users will receive an email containing a unique redemption code for the Grab Travel Pass. The pass remains valid for 30 days after successful redemption.
To redeem the pass, take note that you must use a Grab account registered using a non-Malaysian mobile number. This is required in order to receive the OTP and redeem the Visit Malaysia 2026 Travel Pass.
Once you’re logged in to Grab using your international mobile number, tap on Buy Travel Pass and then enter the 8-digit redemption code in the “Have a Promo Code” section. You’ll need a valid Credit or Debit Card linked to your Grab account to complete the redemption.
