Huawei Malaysia has officially launched the MatePad Pro Max in Malaysia. Measuring just 4.7mm thin, this is the world’s thinnest 13″ tablet which packs flagship features.
Besides featuring a large 13.2″ Flexible OLED PaperMatte display, the tablet also comes with AI-powered PC-level WPS Office, Huawei Notes, GoPaint, as well as support for the new Huawei Glide Keyboard and Huawei M-Pencil Pro.

The Huawei MatePad Pro Max is now available nationwide with an official retail price of RM5,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.
It is available from Huawei Experience Stores nationwide, the Huawei Official Website, Huawei Official Store on Shopee, Huawei Flagship Store on Lazada and the Huawei Official TikTok Shop.
For a limited time, customers will also receive complimentary gifts and rewards worth up to RM3,154, which include a Huawei M-Pencil Pro, Huawei Wireless Mouse, AI-powered PC-level WPS Office, AI-powered Huawei Notes, a one-year APAC Warranty and one-year two-time PaperMatte Display Care. The Glide Keyboard is included in the box.
This is a WiFi-only tablet without cellular connectivity and it comes only in Blue.

Huawei MatePad Pro Max Malaysia specs and features

The Huawei MatePad Pro Max features a 13.2″ Flexible OLED PaperMatte display that pushes a 3000 × 2000 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. It boasts up to 1,600 nits peak brightness and a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Huawei says its nano-etched PaperMatte display helps reduce glare while providing a cyrstal-clear view and a paper-like writing experience.
Measuring just 4.7mm thin and weighing approximately 509g, the MatePad Pro Max is Huawei’s thinnest flagship tablets to date.
The tablet is powered by a Kirin T93 chip and comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
For productivity, Huawei includes AI-powered PC-level WPS Office, which supports AI-assisted document writing, spreadsheet analysis, presentation generation and PDF editing. It also supports Live-Multitask, allowing users to run up to three application windows simultaneously.

The MatePad Pro Max comes with Huawei Glide Keyboard in the box, which features an integrated storage compartment for the Huawei M-Pencil Pro. Huawei Notes also adds AI-powered features including AI Handwriting Enhancement, AI Equation Recognition, Note Replay, Resource Center and collaborative note editing.
For cameras, the tablet gets a 50MP f/1.8 “True-to-Colour” main camera for the rear and an 12MP front camera for video calls and selfies.

The MatePad Pro Max also packs a six-speaker Huawei Sound audio system and four microphones.
There’s also support for 802.11be WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NearLink support, USB-C (USB 3.1) and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.

Keeping the tablet powered is a 10,400mAh battery that supports up to 66W Huawei SuperCharge. Huawei claims the battery can provide up to 14.5 hours of local video playback.
If you want to charge other devices, it also supports up to 40W wired reverse charging. Out of the box, it runs on HarmonyOS 4.3.
