Aside from the Poco C81 Pro, the Xiaomi sub-brand has also launched a budget tablet, the Poco Pad C1, in Malaysia. With a starting price of RM549, it offers a 9.7″ display, a 7,600mAh battery, and expandable storage via microSD.

From now until 10 June 2026, the Poco Pad C1 is offered with an early bird promo:

Featuring a metal unibody design, the Poco Pad C1 sports a Triple TÜV Rheinland eye-care-certified 9.7″ 120Hz LCD screen with a resolution of 2048×1280 pixels and peak brightness of 600 nits.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with storage expandable up to 2TB via microSD. For imaging, the tablet features an 8MP f/2.0 main shooter at the back and a 5MP f/2.2 sensor at the front. Video recording is supported at up to 1080p 30fps.

Supplying power is a 7,600mAh battery, which Xiaomi says can provide up to 1.7 days of use on a single charge. Charging is handled via USB-C at up to 18W. The Poco Pad C1 runs on HyperOS 3 on top of Android 16 out of the box, and features WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and a good old 3.5mm headphone jack.
