Samsung Galaxy A57 Malaysia Specs and Features

Samsung Galaxy A57

The Samsung Galaxy A57 like its predecessor still comes with a 6.7″ Full HD+ display which now rocks a Super AMOLED+ panel. It still pushes 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster, a feature to boost brightness to improve visibility outdoors.

Under the hood, the A57 runs on a 4nm Exynos 1680 paired with 12GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of non-expandable storage.

Compared to the Galaxy A56 5G, the A57 5G is thinner at 6.9mm. In fact, that’s thinner than the Galaxy S26 which measures at 7.2mm.

In the camera department, the A57’s camera setup remains unchanged and there’s no telephoto camera. The rear triple-camera array consists of a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies, it still gets a 12MP front camera that sits in a punch-hole on the display.

While there are no major hardware changes, the new Galaxy A series gets the latest Galaxy AI features powered by One UI 8.5. This includes Voice Transcription, AI Select, Object Eraser, Best Faces, Circle to Search with Google and Bixby.

Low light photography is said to be enhanced by its improved Nightography backed by an improved Image Signal Processor.

The new Galaxy A series still offers stereo speakers and IP68-rated dust and water resistance. Out of the box, it runs on Android 16 and Samsung is offering 6x OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates to ensure that your device remains supported for an extended period of time.

The Galaxy A57 comes with a 5,000mAH battery and it supports 45W fast charging via USB-C.

Samsung Galaxy A37 Malaysia Specs and Features

Samsung Galaxy A37

The Galaxy A37 is the cheaper option and it comes with a 6.7″ 120Hz Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and a huge 5,000mAh battery. The main differences are the RAM+storage configuration, processor and camera setup.

Under the hood, the A37 runs on an Exynos 1480, which powers the Galaxy A55. The base option is paired with 8GB RAM while the higher option gets 12GB RAM, both with 256GB of storage.

In the camera department, the ultra-wide-angle camera is a lower resolution 8MP shooter, while the other cameras remain unchanged. You still get a 50MP main camera, 5MP macro shooter and a 12MP selfie camera.

The rest of the Galaxy A37 hardware are mostly identical to the A57. You still get a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging, One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and Samsung’s promise of 6x OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
