Kelle Energy, a Singapore-based clean energy technology company, today officially launched their Mobile EV Chargers integrated with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Malaysia.
While we’ve seen several examples of “EV Powerbank” on wheels, this mobile EV charging solution is more compact as it is a standalone mobile DC charger with built-in battery and it can be moved around remotely.
This makes it practical to be deployed in carparks, event spaces and even service areas along the highway.
Under the first phase, 100 of these mobile EV chargers will be deployed on EVC’s EV Charging Network (JomCharge) especially in areas with grid limitations. This is seen as an ideal solution to increase EV charging capacity at busy R&Rs especially at existing EV charging locations powered by BESS.
The Mobile DC Charger (EPLVS) comes with a 60kW DC Charger backed by a 184kWh capacity BESS. With a full charge, it can charge up to 3 EVs back to back. The BESS can be charged backed via the grid or 100% renewable energy with direct connection to solar.

Equipped with motorised wheels, the EPLVS can moved from one parking bay to other with a paired wireless controller. It can move up to a top speed of 5km/h and up to 8% gradient. The equipment itself measures 2100mm (Length) x 1054mm (Width) x 1400mm (Height), and weighs 2100kg.

Unlike conventional DC chargers that rely heavily on grid upgrades and fixed installations, Kelle Energy’s integrated mobile EV chargers with BESS deliver DC fast charging directly to vehicles, helping to ease congestion and optimise underutilised areas across cities.
Beyond charging, the solution can also be used to store excess energy during off-peak hours and release it during peak periods.
For commercial fleet operators, the solution helps address immediate EV charging requirements by enabling DC charging at locations with space or grid constraints, particularly at short-term leased properties.
It also supports fleet transition by allowing companies to run EV pilot programmes using portable chargers before committing to permanent EV charging infrastructure.



During today’s launch, Kelly Energy has signed a MoU for Strategic Investment and Business Development Collaboration with Anhui Yijianeng Digital Technology Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Gotion High-Tech Co Ltd (Gotion), to support strategic investment and business development initiatives for mobile energy solutions and BESS applications in the region.
It also signed a three-way MoU with Anhui Yijianeng Digital Technology Co Ltd and EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC) to establish a partnership for the deployment and expansion of mobile EV charging solutions nationwide in Malaysia. Through this partnership, they aim to introduce scalable, user-centric mobile EV charging services tailored to Malaysia’s urban centres, commercial facilities, fleet operators and emerging EV demand corridors.
Gotion is Kelle Energy’s mobile EV charger technology partner. The collaboration builds on Gotion’s growing presence in Malaysia, following recent developments where the Johor state government and Gotion are finalising discussions to establish an advanced lithium battery manufacturing facility in Johor. Kelle Energy said this development could further strengthen Malaysia’s position within the regional battery and EV supply chain.
