You can now get your hands on the BYD Atto 3 Ultra for just RM105,800. The model is essentially a minor refresh of the 2024 Atto 3 and was launched in Malaysia last March.
The main differences between them were a new wheel design, all-black interior with yellow stitching, ventilated front seats, and digital key support. The Atto 3 Ultra still features the same front-mounted 150kW (201hp) electric motor, which also produces 310 Nm of torque.

Powered by a 60.48kWh BYD Blade battery, the WLTP-rated range of Atto 3 Ultra is still similar to its predecessor at 420km. The same applies to its charging capability, as BYD has decided to retain the 7kW single-phase AC onboard charger, alongside support for DC charging speeds of up to 80kW.
Through the new promotion, you are looking at savings of around RM18,000 as the Atto 3 Ultra was launched last March with a price tag of RM123,800. The pricing also made Atto 3 Ultra more affordable than its fierce rival – the locally assembled Proton e.MAS 7 Premium.

As a comparison, the e.MAS 7 Premium is currently priced at RM119,800, although the RM4,000 launch rebate allows you to purchase it for as low as RM115,800. The Atto 3 Ultra still costs more than the base e.MAS 7 Prime, which is currently available for as low as RM99,800, inclusive of the launch rebate.
On its social media page, BYD Sime Motors noted that there are “limited tax-free stock”, which implies that these units were probably brought into Malaysia at the end of last year – just before the removal of import and excise duty exemptions for fully imported, Completely Built-Up (CBU) EVs.

Meanwhile, BYD has also added the 4th colour option for Atto 3 Ultra in the form of Atlantis Grey. You can still get the model in 3 of its original colourways, which include Ski White, Harbour Grey, and Cosmos Black.
