Denza Malaysia has confirmed that the Denza D9 electric luxury MPV will continue to be available for the same price as of 2025. This is despite the recent confirmation of the new tax rates for fully imported, CBU EVs in Malaysia.

The announcement by Denza Malaysia came just one month short of the MPV’s 1st anniversary of release in Malaysia. The Denza D9 is the Silver winner for the Best Electric MPV of the Year at SoyaCincau Awards 2025.

At the moment, the pricing of the Denza D9 is still similar to its launch price, which is as follows:

  • Denza D9 Advanced FWD – RM259,000
  • Denza D9 Premium AWD – RM309,000

However, do take note that the pricing above is only applicable to 2025 units, which probably explains why Denza Malaysia is still able to retain the pricing. At the same time, the pricing listed above does not include related fees such as registration, inspection, HP ownership, number plate, insurance, and road tax.

Regarding the road tax, there are no more road tax exemptions for EVs starting in 2026. In case you are wondering, the annual road tax fee for the D9 Advanced (230kW) is RM335, while the cost for D9 Premium (275kW) is RM485, according to our EV road tax calculator.

Meanwhile, Denza Malaysia said the D9 currently comes with ownership privileges worth up to RM10,000 for the Advanced version as well as RM15,000 for the Premium variant. In addition to that, customers will be provided with a 22kW AC charger for their home, inclusive of installation, which is worth RM6,000.

They are also entitled to a 6-year / 120,000km free service package, which is worth RM5,000. The D9 is covered by a 6-year vehicle warranty, while its high-voltage battery has its own 8-year / 160,000km warranty, and there is also another 8-year / 150,000km warranty for the MPV’s drive unit.
