Looking for a budget 5G smartphone with a huge display and massive battery? Xiaomi Malaysia has just introduced its Redmi 15 5G that boasts a large 6.9″ display and a large capacity battery that can last up to 2 days on a single charge.
Redmi 15 5G Malaysia Price
The Redmi 15 5G comes in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and is officially priced at RM729 in Malaysia. It is available now at official Xiaomi stores and their official Mi.com online store.
The device comes in three options – Ripple Green, Titan Gray and Midnight Black.

Despite being priced under RM800, the Redmi 15 5G is still a decent offering. It gets a large 6.9″ Full HD+ display that pushes up to 144Hz refresh rate and up to 850 nits of brightness. In addition, the device gets a quad-curved back and is also splash and dust resistant with IP64 rating.
Powering the device is a 6nm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, which is expandable via microSD card with up to 2TB of storage.
In terms of cameras, it gets a “50MP AI” dual-camera system which includes a 50MP main camera and an undisclosed secondary shooter. Meanwhile, the punch-hole on the screen houses an 8MP selfie camera.
Powering the Redmi 15 5G is a large 7,000mAh battery which is rated to last up to 2 days on a single charge. To juice it up quickly, it supports 33W fast wired charging and 18W reverse charging via USB-C. For instant unlocking, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with AI face unlock.
Overall, the device weighs 217g and has a thickness of 8.4mm.
