Are you an Astro customer? No matter if you’ve just subscribed to Astro recently or have been using it for a long time, Astro is offering you a discount of up to 50% on Max (previously HBO Max) via a 12-month subscription.
Available from now until the 30th of June, 2025, here are the discounted prices:
- Max Standard 12-Month Plan – RM16.86/month (originally RM33.90/month)
- Max Ultimate 12-Month Plan – RM25.95/month (originally RM52.90/month)
You will be able to enjoy this discount technically forever, until you decide to cancel or not renew your subscription. To watch Max content, you can either do so via the Astro Ultra/Ulti Box or directly through the Max app.
Prime Video available to selected Astro customers at no additional cost
Besides the discounts on Max, Astro is also providing its Astro One Epic Pack and Astro Movies Bundle Packs customers with goodies, by offering Prime Video at no additional cost to their existing monthly subscription fee.
If you are a subscriber of one of the above packs but don’t own an Ultra/Ulti Box, you will still receive access to Prime Video, but slightly later on the 24th of June, 2025. But if you’re not a subscriber of either of those packs as well, Prime Video is still available for you, but at an add-on price of RM25/month.
Heroes pop-up channel making its return on 16th June 2025
Astro is also bringing back the Heroes (CH 100) pop-up channel on the 16th of June, 2025, at 11:30AM. This dedicated action and thriller channel will run for one month and is available to all Astro customers at no additional cost.
It features over 100 titles and more than 300 hours of content in English, Malay, Korean, and several other languages. You can enjoy titles such as Disney+ Hotstar’s Korean drama series First Responder, The Revenant, Blood Free and The Zone Survival. Action and family entertainment titles like X-Men, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Lion King, Zootopia, and Moana are also available.
