Just in time for the upcoming Raya holidays, DC Handal has turned on its first EV charging site in Ipoh. Located at MH Hotel, this is a prime location as it is within close proximity of the popular Gentari 60kW DC Charger at Petronas Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. It is only minutes away from the North-South Expressway exit ramp (Northbound) for Ipoh/Tambun/Tanjung Rambutan.

For its location at MH Hotel Ipoh, DC Handal has deployed a 120kW Autel DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles. At the moment, the charger is priced at RM1.30 per kWh, which is cheaper than most DC chargers in town.

Similar to other DC Handal sites, EV drivers can active and pay for charging without installing any apps. Just tap your credit or debit card at the terminal, select the nozzle number and start charging. If you prefer to use apps, you can also activate the charger via JomCharge and ChargEV apps.

Within the same 1km radius, there are two other DC chargers deployed by Gentari. The nearest is Gentari’s 60kW DC Charger at Petronas Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah which is next to the McDonald’s drive-thru, priced at RM1.70 per kWh. The recent addition is BYD Ipoh located across the road which has a Gentari 120kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles, priced at RM1.60 per kWh.
