The Proton e.MAS 7 is possibly the most sought after EV at the moment as Pro-Net achieved over 2,500 bookings in less than two weeks after its official launch.
If you want to enjoy the lower price tag, it appears that Pro-Net has extended the RM4,000 launch rebate offer which knocks the price down to as low as RM105,800 for the base model. Initially offered only for the first 3,000 customers, the RM4,000 rebate has been extended to cover another 3,000 buyers of Proton’s first EV.
According to Pro-Net, over 3,000 bookings of the e.MAS 7 have been secured within a month. Due to overwhelming demand, they are extending the offer so that more Malaysians can experience the Proton e.MAS 7 and the benefits of owning an EV.

- 6-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty + 8-year / 160,000km warranty of high voltage battery, driving motor, and driving motor controller
When it comes to the high-voltage battery warranty, Pro-Net has clarified that customers can get 1 to 1 battery replacement if the state of health (SoH) falls below 70% during the warranty period.
When it comes to service, Pro-Net says it is estimated to cost RM2,500 (excluding labour fee) over a 10 year period. Unlike a traditional internal combustion engine vehicle, the e.MAS 7 service schedule is once a year or every 20,000km, after the initial 5,000km service.
Since this is an EV, there are no engine oil, transmission fluid, spark plugs, timing belt or chain and oil filters to replace periodically. There are only four components which require replacements in the official service schedule – N95 cabin filter, reduction gear lubricant, brake fluid and electric motor coolant.
