Aeon Bank has launched its referral programme, allowing existing customers to earn RM9 worth of Aeon Points for each successful referral. The more friends and family members you refer, the more you will earn from the referral programme.

If you’re already an Aeon Bank customer, you can tap on the “Refer & Earn” banner on the home screen of the Aeon Bank app to get started. From here, you can view your referrer code and share it directly through your instant messaging apps.

Do note that a referral is only considered successful if the new applicant signs up using your referral code and activated their Aeon Bank Savings Account-i by depositing a minimum of RM20. You must also remind them to enter your referral code as you won’t be entitled to any rewards if they forget to enter the code during sign up.

For each successful referral, you will receive 1,800 Aeon points which is equivalent to RM9 (200 Aeon points = RM1). The Aeon Points can be exchanged instantly as cash into your Savings Account via the Aeon Bank app. For clarity, only the referral will get the 1,800 points and no points will be awarded to the user who signs up using your code.

As revealed early this month, Aeon Bank has revised its profit rate to 0.88% p.a. for its Savings Account-i, however, the Islamic Digital Bank is still offering a profit rate of 3.00% p.a. for the Savings Pot. As part of its current promo until 31st December 2024, Aeon Bank is also waiving the 1% service fee (Promo: 1%, Usual: 2%) for overseas transactions and reducing the withdrawal fees (Promo: RM5, Usual: RM10)) for overseas ATM usage.

To learn more, visit Aeon Bank’s Referral Programme page.
