If you’re driving an EV southbound on the North-South Expressway, there’s now a new DC charger deployed by Gentari at the Seremban R&R Southbound area. As a result, there are now two 180kW DC chargers at the location, making it an ideal quick charging stop before Ayer Keroh R&R.

The Petronas Seremban R&R Southbound gets a 180kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles. Similar to other Gentari DC Chargers, it costs RM1.50 per kWh and you can activate it using the Gentari Go, ChargEV and JomCharge app.

If you have an annual Gentari membership, you can enjoy 50% off, with a discount rate of RM0.75 per kWh.

Before the Petronas station, there’s a Shell Recharge DC charger at the Shell Station in the same R&R area. It also has a 180kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles and it costs RM5 for the confirmation fee and RM2.20 per kWh. You can reserve the spot up to 10 minutes in advance via the ParkEasy app.

However, if you sign up as a Shell Recharge Gold member (RM835/year), you can enjoy up to 40% discount on charging and pay RM1.30 per kWh. Meanwhile, Platinum members can enjoy an even lower rate of RM0.80 per kWh and this membership is offered complimentary to Porsche Taycan owners for a period of 3 years.

Gentari has also installed a 180kW DC Charger at Seremban R&R Northbound but it still not available at the time of writing.
