Samsung Malaysia has announced yet another new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite for 2024. This is the third generation model of the same tablet which now comes with an Exynos processor and double the storage from the previous version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 is officially priced at RM1,499 in Malaysia and it comes with an S Pen included. It is offered in two colours – Mint and Grey. If you’re interested, it is now available for online order on Samsung Malaysia’s online store.

The overall design looks similar to the previous Galaxy Tab S6 Lite versions which were first introduced in 2020. It still gets a 10.4″ 2000×1200 pixels resolution (WUXGA+) TFT display and it comes with dual speakers for stereo playback.
The biggest upgrades are on the inside as the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 now runs on an Exynos 1280 chip instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip on the 2022 model. As a reference, the first generation model released in 2022 ran on an Exynos 9611 chip.
The 2024 Galaxy Tab S6 Lite still comes with 4GB of RAM but it now offers double the storage at 128GB. If you need more storage, it still supports microSD card expansion up to 1TB.
In the camera department, it still gets a front-facing 5MP shooter while the rear gets an 8MP camera. For improved productivity, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite now features DeX Mode with Tab One UI for better multitasking. This allows users to seamlessly switch between apps with pop-up windows like a PC. With an S Pen, you can easily take down notes and it also supports handwriting search and conversion, as well as screen-off memo, which lets you jot down ideas without unlocking the tablet.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite boasts a durable metal unibody construction, weighing 465g and it is only 7mm thick. The model which is offered in Malaysia is the WiFi-only version and it supports Bluetooth 5.3 and 802.11ac WiFi 5.
Powering the device is a 7,040mAh battery which supports fast charging via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on Android 14.
