Honor unveiled the new flagship competitor, the Honor 90 GT in China a couple of days ago. The phone has features that is on par, and in some cases, even beyond the flagships that is currently available in the market today.
On the front, the Honor 90 GT features a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display that has a 2664 x 1200 pixel resolution plus it feature a 120H refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner is situated underneath the screen and like many phones in the market, it has a punch-hole for the selfie camera.
The brains of the phone is this year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, so you know it is a beast in your hands. Additionally, Honor has elected to give the 90 GT a whopping 24GB of RAM, so you should be able to run just about anything on the phone without stutters. The base model comes with 12GB while the mid-tiger features 16GB. The storage also goes up to 1TB.
At the back, the main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor, which has OIS for stabilized photos and videos. Paired with the camera is a 12MP ultra-wide sensor.
The battery unit is a 5,000mAh model which can be juiced up with a 100W fast charging brick which Honor usually includes in the box.
The Honor 90 GT comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors. Pricing starts at CNY 2,599 (about RM1,690) for the 12/256GB trim and goes up to 3,699 (about RM2,408) for the model with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. The phone will start sales in China starting on 26 December with a promotional selling price of CNY 2,499 (about RM 1,626).
