Huawei Malaysia has just taken the cover off the new MatePad 13.2-inch and MateBook D 16, two new models under the brand’s productivity products. The MatePad 13.5-inch joins the other tablets already available in the Malaysian market. At the same time, the MateBook D 16 is designed for those looking for a lightweight and big-screened laptop for productivity on the go or in the office.
The MatePad 13.2-inch tablet features a 13.2-inch Huawei X-True Flexible OLED Display, which has a peak brightness of 1000 nits and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for Eye Comfort 3.0. It is one of the lightest tablets on the market at 580 grams and has a thickness of only 5.5mm at its thinnest.
Also new is the Huawei M-Pencil 3rd Generation, which uses the Nearlink connectivity protocol for lower latency connectivity and use with the tablet. It is also the first stylus in the market that has a 10,000-level pressure sensitivity for unparalleled writing and drawing on the tablet. There is also a new Multi-Window allowing apps to be open in multiple instances on screen. The tablet also comes with a 10,100 mAh battery and 88W Huawei SuperCharge for fast charging the tablet.
The MateBook D 16 meanwhile features up to an Intel Core i9 H-series processor, a 16-inch Huawei FullView screen, a full-sized keyboard with numeric keys, a 70Wh large capacity battery (for the Core i9 model only) and weighs only 1.68KG and a 17mm thin.
The design of the laptop is very similar to the other MateBook D models, and also comes in two colour – Space Grey and Mystic Silver.
Huawei will be giving free gifts worth up to RM2,144 with the pre-order of the MateBook D 16, and free gifts up to RM 3,145 for the MatePad 13.20inch tablet.
The MatePad 13.2-inch and the MateBook D 16 are now open for preorder at Huawei’s Shopee shop, Lazada shop or the official Huawei online store.
