GoCar has expanded the GoCar Sharing service to selected MRT stations. To mark the occasion, the company is now offering discounts of up to 50% on rental rates until later this month.

For those unfamiliar with the GoCar Sharing series, it allows users to rent a car directly through GoCar’s mobile app and website. The mobile app even acts as a key to unlock and lock the car during your time with it.

MRT stations with GoCar Sharing service

GoCar Sharing at MRT Station

At the moment, the GoCar Sharing service is currently available at these MRT stations:

  • MRT Kwasa Damansara
  • MRT Kwasa Sentral
  • MRT Sungai Buloh
  • MRT Sri Damansara Sentral
  • MRT Kepong Baru
  • MRT Jinjang
  • MRT Kuchai
  • MRT UPM
  • MRT Taman Equine
  • MRT Putra Permai

The exact car models available for customers vary from station to station. If you are looking to rent electric vehicles at these locations, you are out of luck though as the company has yet to deploy its GoEV fleet at MRT stations.

That being said, you can still take advantage of the ongoing 50% discount promotion if you planning to rent an EV during the promotion period. This is because it can also be used in all GoCar Share locations.

50% discount with no cap to last until 15 December

Meanwhile, the 50% discount provided by the promotion has no cap. Not only that, one can use it multiple times throughout the promotion period which will last until the middle of this month.

You can obtain the discount for your GoCar Share booking by inputting YAY50 as the promo code. This is how the savings look like in general:

However, the Ora Good Cat EV has been excluded from this promotion. The company didn’t provide any explanation behind this exclusion but if we have to guess, it is most probably because the Good Cat came from Yinson GreenTech’s DriveEV fleet instead of GoCar’s vehicle.
