The two plans introduced by U Mobile for East Malaysia are:

  • U Postpaid Borneo 38
  • U Postpaid Borneo 68

The two plans provide unlimited 5G/high-speed 4G data, unlimited hotspot also unlimited calls to all local networks. For a limited time, the U Postpaid Borneo 38 is being offered to customers for only RM28/month instead of RM38, starting from today (1 December) until a date mentioned later in the future. The U Postpaid Borneo 68 meanwhile will cost RM68/month.

Taken from the official FAQ for the new U Mobile Borneo plans

U Postpaid Borneo 38

Customers looking to get the lowest-priced 5G postpaid line can check the Borneo 38 plan. Users can enjoy unlimited data in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, with no speed cap and no FUP with the plan. Users will also enjoy unlimited voice calls to local networks as well as unlimited 5G hotspot.

For those looking to roam, there is no roaming included with the plan and it will have to be purchased separately. The plan can be used in Peninsular Malaysia, but users will only get 10GB of high-speed data monthly instead of unlimited high-speed data.

U Postpaid Borneo 68

The Borneo 68 plan shares everything with the Borneo 38 plan, plus a 200GB free quota for roaming to three countries – Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. This plan is also available for users looking to bundle with 5G phones offered by U Mobile.

Like the Borneo 38 plan, the Borneo 68 plan includes free unlimited hotspot and calls to local networks. Also like the Borneo 38 plan, the Borneo 68 plan is allocated 10GB of high-speed data that is refreshed monthly when they are using it in Peninsular Malaysia.

Some of the 5G devices can be bundled with the U Postpaid Borneo 68 plan

Additionally, U Mobile is also offering the U Home 5G home broadband plan. The plan is being offered at RM78 monthly, but for a limited time, it is available for only RM68 monthly. The plan will not come with any 5G routers, so customers will need to provide one for themselves.
