The Samsung Galaxy S5 packs a lot of new features but it is no different from the competitors in terms of display and processor. Even Oppo has taken the bold leap of introducing a Quad HD display in their flagship Find 7 smart phone. Now don’t think that Samsung is resting on its laurels, as a new device has just emerged with enough grunt to take pole position in the smart phone race. This could possible be the rumoured Samsung F-Series with premium materials or perhaps a high-spec version of the current Galaxy S5.
A new unidentified smart phone that carries the model SM-G906S has been spotted on GFXBench and a couple of interesting specs have been revealed. The front display is reported to have a larger 5.2″ display that pushes a Quad HD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. This gives a staggering 565ppi (pixels per inch), which packs a higher pixel density than the Oppo Find 7’s 538ppi. While most smart phones are running on a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, the new Samsung model is running on a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor that comes with Adreno 420 graphics. For better multi-tasking, there’s a generous serving of 3GB RAM.
On-board it gets 32GB of storage and it retains the same 16MP camera from the current Galaxy S5. You can check out the details from GFXBench after the break.
