Honor Malaysia has announced Merdeka Limited Editon Honor Magic 5 Pro that comes in Coral Purple. Release in conjunction with the upcoming Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebrations, Honor Malaysia is also offering prizes worth up to RM10,000,000 during their sales promo campaign that runs from 25th August to 17th September 2023.
The Honor Magic 5 Pro is the brand’s current flagship smartphone that was launched in Malaysia back in April with a retail price tag of RM4,299 for the sole 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model. At the moment, the device is currently offered for RM3,999 on the official online store via Lazada and Shopee. The Coral Purple edition will be available starting this Friday 25th August 2023.
Honor customers can stand a chance to win prizes and free gifts worth up to RM10 million during the Merdeka Special Sale campaign which offers discounts for various products including their Honor smartphones and MagicBook laptops. To recap, the Honor Magic 5 Pro features a 6.81″ “quad-curved” OLED display that pushes 2848×1312 pixels resolution and an LTPO backplane that offers 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. The flagship smartphone also boasts peak HDR brightness up to 1800 nits as well as 2160Hz PWM dimming for better eye comfort in low light.
Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The main highlight is its triple 50MP camera setup for main, periscope-telephoto and ultra-wide. It gets AI Motion Sensing Capture to help you take fast action scenes and AI-powered Falcon Capture to take quite snaps with reduced blur.
Powering the Honor Magic 5 Pro is a 5,100mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. It also gets IP68 rated dust and water resistance, stereo speakers and support for 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC.
