Following Astro’s access agreement signing with Celcom Timur (Sabah) Sdn Bhd (CT Sabah), the broadband provider is now able to access an additional 118,000 homes across various towns in Sabah. As an introductory offer, Astro Fibre is offering 50Mbps broadband with Astro TV bundle for only RM129.99/month, which translates to savings of over RM900 for the contract period.
Similar to Astro’s current fibre offering, a standalone 50Mbps costs RM99/month and they also offer faster 100Mbps for RM129/month, 500Mbps for RM189/month and 800Mbps for RM249/month. All plans come with a WiFi 6 router and are tied to a 24-month contract.
For greater value and entertainment, you can add on Astro Primary Pack (RM59.99/month) which comes with over 80 channels, Astro Movies Pack (RM94.99/month) with over 90 channels and access to Disney+ Hotstar and HBO Go. Meanwhile, the Astro Sports Pack (RM99.99/month) provides over 95 channels and access to BeIn Sports app.
With the current promo, 50Mbps Fibre + Primary Pack will cost you RM129.99/month (Save RM29/month) or RM154.99/month (Save RM39/month) with the Movies Pack. If you need sports, the 50Mbps Fibre + Sports Pack combo costs RM159.99/month (Save RM39/month).
Take note that these prices are only applicable for homes that are covered by CT Sabah’s Fibre Network which includes major towns such as Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, Semporna, Kunak, Sandakan, Penampang, Lahad Datu, Beaufort, Keningau, Kota Belud, Kota Marudu, Kudat, Putatan, Ranau, Tenom and Tuaran. For other areas that are covered by TM HSBB, the fibre + Astro TV bundle will cost RM10/month more.
