Astro is currently having a bundle offer where you can enjoy RM696 in savings when you sign up for a fibre broadband and entertainment bundle. If you want to catch the upcoming sports events including MotoGP, UFC, ATP, Premier League, BWF and F1, you can get an Astro Fibre + Sports TV pack from RM169.99/month.
With a base Astro Fibre plan of 50Mbps, you can add on a Primary Pack which offers over 80 TV channels for RM139.99/month. If you want to enjoy movies and video streaming services, the 50Mbps Fibre + Movies Pack costs RM164.99/month which provides access to over 90 channels as well as Disney+ Hotstar and HBO Go. The 50Mbps Fibre + Sports Pack costs slightly more at RM169.99/month which provides access to over 95 channels as well as the BeIn Sports Connect app. Essentially, Astro is offering a monthly rebate of RM29/month across 24 months.
Astro also offers higher broadband speeds all the way up to 800Mbps. If 50Mbps isn’t enough for your household, the 100Mbps Fibre + Movies Pack bundle costs RM194.99/month while the 100Mbps Fibre + Sports Pack costs RM199.99/month. If you want both Movies and Sports, there’s the 100Mbps + Premium Pack bundle that costs RM229.99/month.
If you don’t need any TV packs, Astro is also offering its Fibre Broadband as a standalone service. The base 50Mbps fibre costs RM99/month while its 100Mbps option costs RM129/month. If that’s not enough, Astro offers 500Mbps for RM189/month and 800Mbps for RM249/month, which are more affordable than Unifi and Maxis.
As usual, all plans are tied to a 24-month contract. Astro’s fibre offering is available nationwide as it taps into TM’s HSBB network. The content and broadband provider is also expanding its reach in Sabah through an access agreement with Celcom Timur.
