Having showcased it to the world during CES 2023 and then announcing global availability of it, AMD has now also confirmed the availability of their Ryzen 7000X3D processors in Malaysia—at least, they have for two of them for now.

As mentioned back when they first announced its global pricing, AMD is only launching the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the Ryzen 9 7900X3D for now. These are the two big guns of the product stack of course, with the more value option Ryzen 7 7800X3D only coming later in the year on 6 April. In any case, here’s how much the two Ryzen 9 processors will set you back:

  • AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 16-core/32-thread, 4.2GHz/5.7GHz, 144MB cache – RM3,299
  • AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, 12-core/24-thread, 4.4GHz/5.6GHz, 140MB cache – RM2,799

The Ryzen 9 7950X3D features 144MB of total cache, with 128MB of that being L3 cache. There’s also 16 cores and 32 threads, running at 4.2GHz base clock and boosts of up to 5.7GHz. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D meanwhile also has 128MB of L3 cache, with 4MB less total cache. It comes with 12 cores and 24 threads, running at 4.4GHz base with boost speeds of up to 5.6GHz.

Both of these processors have a 120W TDP, as will the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. AMD claims that with 3D V-Cache, these processors offer up to 14% performance gains over its predecessors, and while they aren’t cheap by any means, you will be getting what AMD is calling the best gaming processors available for consumers out there right now. You’ll be able to find them on sale via AMD’s local retailers and online stores.
