Barely a month after introducing the flagship Vivo X90 series, Vivo Malaysia is launching a new mid-range smartphone which features an “Aura Light” that boasts better portrait photos in low light situations. The official launch is happening on 1st March and they have dropped a couple of teasers for the new Vivo V27 series phone.
The Vivo V27e Malaysian launch is happening next Wednesday afternoon, 1st March 2023. According to the teasers, you can get freebies worth up to RM765.
According to Vivo Malaysia’s online store, the V27e will be offered in two colours – Glory Black and Lavender Purple. The 4G device will be offered in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will come with a 120Hz AMOLED display and supports 66W FlashCharge fast charging.
As shown on their pre-launch promo page, the Vivo V27e is quite a slim device with a 7.8mm thickness and it weighs 186 grams. The main highlight is its triple-camera setup which includes a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilisation. If you look closer, the ring on the top right of the camera island is the Aura Lights which Vivo describes as “3 lightbulbs” that can detect ambient lighting and it will adjust the brightness accordingly. The feature claims to capture clear and bright night shots, and it is lit just with the right amount.
So far no details on pricing but this V27e is very likely the successor to the V25e that was introduced in August last year. The Vivo V25e was priced at RM1,399 and it has a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage and a 4,500mAh battery which supports 44W fast charging. For taking pictures, it also gets a 64MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro shooter.
