Ugreen, a popular brand that produces affordable multi-port chargers, has just announced its new 100W and 65W USB-C desktop chargers that uses its advanced Gallium nitride (GaN) technology. These chargers come with four ports, allowing you to charge your laptop, tablet and smartphones all at the same time.

Both desktop chargers boast an upgraded GaN II technology which is claimed to offer a compact design and better heat dissipation. For safe operation, the desktop charger has multi-protection layers to avoid over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and overheating.

Ugreen 65W GaN Desktop Charger

The 65W GaN Desktop charger is now available in Malaysia and it’s currently going for RM149 on both Lazada and Shopee. The version that’s sold in Malaysia comes with a UK-standard 3-pin plug. Take note that the total maximum charging capacity is 65W and if you have more devices connected, the power is shared across the other ports.

With one device connected, the first two USB-C ports can charge a laptop up to 65W. According to Ugreen, you can charge a MacBook Air M2 13″ up to 51% in just 30 minutes. With two or more ports in use, the USB-C port will push a lower 45W or 30W, depending on the power demand of other ports.

Ugreen Nexode 100W GaN Desktop Charger

If you have more power-demanding devices, UGreen also offers a 100W desktop charger which boasts GaN II Hybrid Power. It uses both GaN and SiC chips which boast higher charging efficiency and less heat than your typical bulky chargers.

In Malaysia, the Ugreen 100W desktop charger is currently selling for RM229 on both Lazada and Shopee, and it also comes with a UK plug. Unlike the 65W version, this desktop charger has 3x USB-C ports and 1x USB-A port. The first two USB-C ports can support up to a maximum of 100W. The remaining USB-C and USB-A port supports up to 22.5W max.

The advertised 100W rating is the total maximum charging output. If you have more devices plugged in, the charging capacity is shared across other devices. You can check out the table below for the rated charging capacity with multiple devices.

Ugreen 100W GaN Travel Charger

If you need a 100W GaN charger that’s portable, Ugreen also has a compact version for travelling. It also has three USB-C and one USB-A port with a UK-standard plug. This charger is now going for RM219 on Shopee but you can get it for as low as RM180 on Lazada.

Similar to the desktop version, this travel adapter can push up to a maximum of 100W for the first two USB-C ports, while the other USB-C and USB-A port supports up to 22.5W output. The advertised 100W is the maximum total charging capacity and it’s shared across other ports if you have more devices plugged in.
