The Xiaomi Mi 11 has surfaced in leaked sneaky spy shots on social media that clearly show the phone’s Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship device. The pictures come from reliable leakster Ice Universe.
It appears that the pictures were taken within a factory somewhere in China as we can clearly see workers wearing surgical shoe covers. The first two shots show the phone being held by the same man in a grey suit. The last shot gives us a closer look at the Mi 11’s colour which seem to shift from blue to white at a certain angle.
From what we can see, the back of the so-called Mi 11 or Mi 11 Pro has two rear-facing cameras along with what appears to be an LED flash and a Time of Flight (ToF) camera.
The silver ring around one of the lenses seems to hint that it is the primary camera. It is rumoured that this camera could be using Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL Bright HM3 sensor. This sensor is said to offer 12% better light sensitivity, allowing it to capture more details and better photos in low light. It is rumoured that Samsung will use the same sensor in its upcoming Galaxy S21 Ultra that is due to be released early 2021.
Both Xiaomi and Qualcomm have confirmed that the Mi 11 will be one of the first phones to use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 System on Chip (SoC).
It was also reported that the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro have received 3C (China Compulsory Certificate) certification. Tipster Digital Chat Station tweeted a screenshot of the 3C certification listing that shows the Mi 11 may feature a 2,390mAh battery while the Mi 11 Pro may have a 2,485mAh.
While that may sound small, the tipster noted that the phones may have a dual-cell battery. That means that actual capacity of the phones may be 4,780mAh and 4,970mAh, which is typically rounded up to be 5,000mAh. This is the same battery size as the Mi 10T series, that consist of the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro.
The tipster also claims the Mi 11 series would support 55W fast charging. In comparison, this is marginally quicker than the current Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro which boasted 50W wired fast charging. According to the tipster, the Mi 11 series is said to be able to charge from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes.
That being said, all these reported specs are not confirmed at this point so do take them with a grain of salt. Gizmochina reports that the M11 series is set to be launched and later go on sale this month.
