If you have outstanding traffic summonses, the Royal Malaysia Police is offering another discount offer of up to 50% for 4 days only. It is only available online from the 18th to 21st May.
According to the police, they are gradually reopening payment counters of traffic police stations throughout the country to allow the public to settle outstanding summonses and to submit documentation for traffic accidents and insurance claim purposes. Those intending to visit police stations are urged to comply with the SOP under the conditional movement control order to ensure safety for all parties.
The statement also mentions that the Royal Malaysia Police is offering up to 50% discount for certain summonses as a measure to reduce the burden of the public. The discount offer is only available via myeg.com.my and rilek.com.my.
The 50% discount is not applicable for the accident summons for the year 2019 & 2020, summonses under trial, summonses issued during Ops Selamat 2019 & 2020, Non-Compoundable (NC) summonses, summonses under court status or related to lorries and summonses with arrest warrant status.
