Touch ‘n Go has announced last Thursday that they will be charging RM35 for new RFID users beginning 15th February 2020. If you’re planning to get one for free, take note that all RFID fitment centres will be closed starting tomorrow for 3 days between 12th to 14th February 2020 for system maintenance.

With the new RM35 charge taking effect starting this coming Saturday, this means today is your last chance to get the RFID tag for free. According to Touch ‘n Go, the RFID tags are only available at the following 14 locations in the Klang Valley and 2 locations in Johor Bahru.

If you’re planning to go to other RFID fitment centres, do note that they have run out of tags. Below is the list of locations that no longer offer TNG RFID tags.

TNG RFID ran out of stock

If you’re interested to get an RFID tag, do note that you’ll need to register for a Touch ‘n Go eWallet account and then register your details here. If the vehicle is not registered under your name, an authorisation letter will be required.

You can learn more about the TNG RFID registration process here.
