Huawei Malaysia has confirmed that the Huawei Watch 6 series will officially arrive on 3 November 2026 alongside the FreeBuds SE 5 Max. Serving as the direct successor to the Huawei Watch 5, which was launched last year, the new generation splits into two options: the standard Huawei Watch 6 and the Huawei Watch 6 Pro.

Pre-orders are currently open until 2 November 2026, offering early buyers bundled free gifts valued at up to RM993.

Huawei Watch 6 series Malaysia specs and features

The standard Huawei Watch 6 comes in two case sizes, measuring 42mm and 46mm across. The smaller 42mm model features an aluminium chassis housing a 1.38-inch AMOLED display with a 466 × 466 resolution at 338 PPI.

For those wanting a larger presence on the wrist, the 46mm version upgrades to a 1.5-inch panel offering the same 466 × 466 resolution at 310 PPI. Both display sizes are shielded beneath scratch-resistant spherical sapphire glass.

Health tracking across the device is driven by Huawei’s Multi-Sensing X-Tap 2.0 sensor, making the Watch 6 series the first smartwatch in Malaysia to support both Hypertension Risk Study and Diabetes Risk Study features. The onboard Health Glance application scans 13 metrics across basic, cardiovascular, endocrine and respiratory indicators within 60 seconds.

Additional wellness tools include Morning Briefing, Health Insights and daily Readiness tracking. For day-to-day use, the smartwatch supports standalone eSIM calling, touch gestures, dual-phone connectivity to switch between two paired smartphones and a Safety Check tool to share real-time location and physical status with emergency contacts.

In terms of battery life, the standard Huawei Watch 6 offers different endurance figures depending on the case size. The 42mm model is rated to deliver up to three days of typical use in Standard mode or two days with Always-On Display (AOD) enabled. Switching to Battery Saver mode extends operation to seven days of light use, five days of typical use or three days with AOD active.

The 46mm variant provides a longer battery life, offering up to 4.5 days of typical use in Standard mode or three days with AOD turned on. In Battery Saver mode, it reaches up to 11 days of light use, seven days of typical use or 4.5 days with AOD enabled. Recharging both standard sizes is handled via Wireless Fast Charging using Huawei’s second-generation USB-C Watch Wireless SuperCharger.

On the other hand, the Huawei Watch 6 Pro offers revised sizing and luxury case materials while retaining the same internals, health sensors, software capabilities and battery performance. Instead of 42mm, the smaller Pro variant measures 43mm across with the 1.38-inch display, while the larger Pro model retains the 46mm chassis with the 1.5-inch screen.

Display-wise, the Pro variant upgrades its LTPO AMOLED screen to reach a brighter peak brightness of 3,500 nits compared to the standard model’s 3,000 nits for superior legibility under direct sunlight.

Rather than aluminium, the Pro series uses premium titanium or nano-tech ceramic. If you pre-order the 43mm Ceramic Edition, you’ll get 18K gold detailing on the crown, button and sensor area, while the 46mm Pro variant is available in a Space Edition that pairs a black ceramic bezel with gold accents. Unlike the standard model which uses traditional open lugs, the Pro variant uses an integrated lug design with a custom quick-release strap system.

Huawei has also equipped the Pro tier with a dedicated Expedition mode app borrowed from the flagship Ultimate series, providing specialised outdoor exploration tools such as pre-loaded GPX routes, manual and automatic waypoint marking and smart backtracking.

When it comes to battery endurance and charging, the Huawei Watch 6 Pro matches the battery ratings of the standard lineup across its corresponding sizes. The 43mm Pro provides up to three days of typical use in Standard mode or two days with AOD enabled, stretching to seven days of light use, five days of typical use or three days with AOD in Battery Saver mode.

Meanwhile, the larger 46mm Pro delivers up to 4.5 days of typical use in Standard mode or three days with AOD active, expanding to 11 days of light use, seven days of typical use or 4.5 days with AOD in Battery Saver mode. Just like the standard watch, the Pro variants support Wireless Fast Charging via Huawei’s second-generation USB-C Watch Wireless SuperCharger.

FreeBuds SE 5 Max Malaysia specs and features

The FreeBuds SE 5 Max are Huawei’s latest budget wireless earbuds. Audio is handled by 10mm dynamic drivers paired with a high-polymer composite diaphragm. You can adjust sound profiles through four preset EQ modes or custom equaliser settings via the companion app.

For noise cancellation, the earbuds feature hybrid adaptive active noise cancellation rated up to 52dB and utilise a six-microphone array with AI call noise reduction for phone calls. Audio performance is backed by Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and LDAC codec support.

The earbuds provide up to 10 hours of music playback on a single charge and up to 80 hours total with the charging case. Connectivity and protection features include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device pairing across Android and iOS devices and an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

Huawei Watch 6 series and FreeBuds SE 5 Max Malaysia promo bundle

Pre-orders for the Huawei Watch 6 series are now officially open until 2 November 2026, ahead of the local launch on 3 November 2026 where official pricing will be announced.

If you pre-order now, the promo bundle include free gifts worth up to RM993, comprising a pair of Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 worth RM199, a one-year Worry-Free Package worth RM579, an extra in-box watch strap worth RM149, a one-year APAC warranty, a three-month Huawei Health+ subscription and a one-month Huawei Watch Face membership.

The FreeBuds SE 5 Max carry a recommended retail price (RRP) of RM249, but Huawei offers an early-bird rebate of RM90, lowering the price to RM159. Early buyers will also receive gifts worth up to RM39, consisting of a one-year Huawei Loss Care Service and a one-year APAC warranty.

Both devices will be available on 3 November 2026 through the Huawei Official Store and Huawei official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop
