Samsung has officially expanded language support across Galaxy AI and Bixby, introducing native support for the Malay language alongside Hungarian.
The update expands translation, transcription, and summarisation tools across compatible Galaxy devices, bringing total language support on the platform to 24 languages.
Malay language arrives on Call Assist, Note Assist and Interpreter

With this software rollout, Malaysian users can utilise Live Translate in Malay during two way phone calls via Call Assist.
The language pack also integrates into Note Assist for text summarisation, Transcript Assist for voice recordings, and Interpreter for face to face spoken conversations.
Screen contextual intelligence via Now Nudge has also received an update.
The feature suggests relevant actions based on displayed content and now supports eight additional languages: Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Swedish, and Turkish.
This addition similarly brings the total language count for Now Nudge to 24.
Bixby adds Thai, Vietnamese and Polish voice support

Beyond Galaxy AI, Samsung voice assistant Bixby has gained three new languages, namely Polish, Thai, and Vietnamese.
The voice platform now supports 12 languages globally, allowing users to execute spoken commands using natural phrasing without memorising exact menu settings.
Operating Bixby still requires an active internet connection alongside a signed in Samsung Account.
Performance remains subject to ambient background noise and vocal clarity, and the assistant remains unavailable during screen recording, active voice calls, or when using Maximum Power Saving mode.
Rollout timeline and device availability
The Bixby language expansion commenced rollout on 14 October.
The new Galaxy AI language additions, including Malay, are scheduled to arrive progressively across compatible Galaxy devices over the coming weeks.
Eligible users will be able to download the respective language packs directly via the device Settings menu once the update goes live.
