JomCharge has announced that its 1.4MW EV Charging Hub at Sepang Motorsport Park is now open to the public.
This is one of their largest EV charging hubs yet which consists of both permanent DC chargers as well as Kelle Energy mobile EV chargers.
This site was initially opened for private fleet during the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix a few weeks ago.

The entire setup at the moment offers a total capacity of 1.4MW (1400kW) that’s shared across a total of 13 bays. These chargers are priced at RM1.30 per kWh.
The CPO has deployed 3x DC Chargers on site that offers 360kW of total capacity from the grid.
The first two JomChargeX branded DC Chargers can deliver a combined maximum output of 240kW, which is shared across four nozzles while the additional JomCharge charger delivers a maximum output of 120kW, shared across two nozzles.

To expand charging capacity, the location gets 7x Kelle Energy Mobile EV Chargers that can deliver an output of 150kW each, which provides a combined capacity of 1,050kW.
These Mobile EV chargers are equipped with integrated 200kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). These mobile units will need to be recharged once its battery has been depleted.
Take note that the permanent DC Chargers can be activated via JomCharge, ChargEV and Gentari Go. However, the Kelle Energy mobile EV chargers can only be activated via the JomCharge app.

As part of the opening promo, JomCharge is offering 50% discount from 16 to 20 October 2026. This means you can enjoy DC charging at Sepang Motorsport Park for only RM0.65 per kWh.
If you have an active JomCharge Elite or Platinum subscription, you can enjoy extra savings but the extra membership discount is only applicable to the permanent DC chargers with 6 bays.
The discount does not apply for JomCharge x Kelle Energy mobile EV chargers.
