MSI has officially opened pre-orders in Malaysia for its latest high-end 2-in-1 convertible laptop, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+.
Aimed squarely at creators, developers, and power users executing local AI agent workloads, the machine stands out as the only 2-in-1 convertible form factor announced in the initial wave of devices running on the new NVIDIA RTX Spark platform.
This laptop is built to run large language models (LLMs), automated AI coding agents, and complex 3D rendering pipelines directly on the device.
Pre-orders for the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ are open from 8 to 23 October 2026 through the official MSI e-Store and authorised retail partners across Malaysia.
MSI is bringing two hardware configurations to the local market, both backed by a 3-year standard on-site warranty out of the box:
Early birds who place their pre-order during the promotional window will receive an exclusive Early Bird Bundle valued at RM1,220.
This bundle includes a redeemable MSI Care Plus package, which adds a 1-year warranty extension (extending coverage to 4 years total) and 1 year of Accidental Damage Protection alongside a complimentary 128GB MSI Dual Drive.
Additionally, both retail packages include an in-box MSI Nano Pen, an Essential Backpack II, and a license for Microsoft Office 2024 paired with 1 year of 100GB Office 365 cloud storage.
Constructed around a 360-degree zinc-alloy hinge, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ transforms between laptop, tablet, tent, and presentation modes.
Measuring between 13.9mm and 16.9mm thin and weighing 1.9kg, the aluminum chassis incorporates an MSI Action Touchpad that is 53% larger than the previous generation with customisable gesture zones.
Designed for digital creators, it features a magnetically recessed dock underneath the body to securely hold and wirelessly charge the included MSI Nano Pen.
The laptop comes with a 16-inch 16:10 touchscreen display across both models, featuring a 30Hz to 120Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, and SGS Low Blue Light eye protection.
The entry model (C1XMT-212MY) features a 2.8K (2880×1800) OLED panel, while the top-tier configuration (C1XMT-211MY) upgrades to a 4K UHD+ (3840×2400) Tandem OLED panel that hits over 1,000 nits of peak brightness with Calman Verification and Delta E < 1 color accuracy.
At its center is the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X superchip, integrating a 20-core Grace CPU with a 6,144-core Blackwell RTX GPU on a single package to output up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance.
Memory is configured with either 64GB or 128GB of LPDDR5x onboard unified memory shared directly between CPU and GPU, paired with a 1TB or 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD.
This unified pool allows creators to keep massive AI local models or 3D files up to 90GB in size loaded without bottlenecking. Creative apps take advantage of hardware-specific optimisations, such as DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction in Blender, Tensor Core AI acceleration in DaVinci Resolve, Blackwell NVENC/NVDEC in Premiere Pro, and NVFP4 acceleration in ComfyUI.
Connectivity options include two USB4 Type-C ports (compatible with Thunderbolt 4, DisplayPort, and Power Delivery 3.1), two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port capable of driving an 8K display at 120Hz, a full-size SD Card Reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
Wireless connections are powered by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Multimedia and security amenities include a quad-speaker system (two 2W stereo drivers and two 2W woofers) tuned with DTS Virtual:X, a 1080p IR webcam with a physical shutter, discrete TPM 2.0, a fingerprint reader, and a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard with a dedicated Windows Copilot key.
To power the high-performance components on the go, the laptop houses a maximum flight-legal 4-cell 99.9Wh battery. It supports fast charging via an included 140W USB-C Power Delivery 3.1 power adapter.
