My50 unlimited travel pass for Rapid KL is here to stay for 2027, according to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. This was revealed during the tabling of Budget 2027 earlier today.

At the moment, around 300,000 public transport users in the Klang Valley are benefiting from the pass.  Valid for 30 days, the popular RM50 unlimited travel pass covers LRT, MRT, and Monorail as well as Rapid KL buses, MRT feeder buses, and the Sunway BRT line.

MyKomuter 50 coming next

Anwar has also announced a separate travel pass called MyKomuter50 for KTM Komuter service. The Prime Minister did not reveal any further details regarding the new pass, although he said that it will benefit 40,000 KTM Komuter users.

In addition to that, the MyKomuter50 pass allows an average savings of up to RM160 per month. Free travel passes will continue to be provided for 360,000 individuals, covering school students, persons with disabilities (OKU), and children under six years old.
