Charge+ hikes EV charging subscription prices, introduces new plans for condo chargers

Charge+ Malaysia has revised the pricing for its EV charging subscription plans, a year after they were first introduced in September 2025.

Effective for new subscriptions from 1st October 2026, the annual plans for Charge+ public chargers now cost between RM726 and RM1,296. This marks an increase of 34% to 44%.

Besides the price revision, Charge+ has also introduced a separate set of Condo subscription plans which offer cheaper rates for its residential EV charging network.

Charge+ revised Public charger subscription plans

Charge+ continues to offer three subscription tiers for its public charging network. While the bundled kWh energy remains the same, all three options have received sizeable price increases.

Here’s the revised pricing:

  • Public Basic 600kWh – RM726 (previously RM540) – equivalent to RM1.21 per kWh
  • Public Pro 800kWh – RM920 (previously RM640) – equivalent to RM1.15 per kWh
  • Public Max 1,200kWh – RM1,296 (previously RM900) – equivalent to RM1.08 per kWh

As usual, the bundled kWh subscription quota is valid for 12 months from the point of purchase and is only applicable for public Charge+ chargers only. This excludes Charge+ chargers at condos, residential areas as well as landlord-owned chargers.

As a comparison, the previous Charge+ subscription plans were valid for both public and condo chargers on the Charge+ network, excluding landlord-owned chargers.

Back then, the Charge+ Max subscription plan offered incredible value for EV owners with a bundle of 1200kWh for only RM900. This was the equivalent of RM0.75 per kWh.

Charge+ new Condo charger subscription plans

If your charging habits are mostly at your own condo or residential area with Charge+ chargers, there’s now a Condo Subscription Plan which is cheaper than the public charger option.

  • Condo Basic 600kWh – RM582 – equivalent to RM0.97 per kWh
  • Condo Pro 800kWh – RM752 – equivalent to RM0.94 per kWh
  • Condo Max 1,200kWh – RM1,068 – equivalent to RM0.89 per kWh

Like the name implies, the Condo subscription plan is only applicable for Charge+ EV chargers deployed at condo/residential areas only.

The bundled kWh subscription quota is also valid for 12 months but you can’t utilise it at public chargers (outside condos) as well as landlord-owned chargers.

If you’re interested, you can sign up via the Charge+ app and tap on the Subscription tab on the bottom of the screen. The app only accepts credit/debit card for subscription payment.
