The Honor X9e Pro 5G has officially launched in Malaysia. This is Honor Malaysia’s first “Pro” smartphone model under the X Series.
The mid-range smartphone boasts a massive 11,000mAh battery, while also offering improved durability with up to 3-metre drop resistance and IP68, IP69 and IP69K-rated dust and water resistance.
It also gets a 108MP main camera and a display that boasts up to 10,000 nits of peak HDR brightness.

The Honor X9e Pro 5G is offered in two configurations in Malaysia:
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage – RM1,899
- 8GB RAM + 512GB storage – RM2,399
The Honor X9e Pro is now available for pre-order in Malaysia from 24 September until 8 October 2026.

During the pre-order period, Honor is offering free gifts and benefits worth up to RM1,626. This includes an Honor Pad X7, RM100 instant rebate, Honor Rakyat Care+ with 730 days of front and back crack warranty and liquid damage protection, as well as an additional one-year extended warranty.
The device is available in four colours: Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black.
Honor X9e Pro specs and features
The Honor X9e Pro features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2788×1280 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Honor claims the screen can hit up to 10,000 nits of peak HDR brightness, measured at an isolated spot during video playback.
Under the hood, the X9e Pro runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. Honor also touts up to 72 months of smooth performance with its Hummingbird Architecture.
For photography, the Honor X9e Pro gets a 108MP main camera with CIPA 6.0-rated stabilisation and a 16MP front camera. The phone also supports NFC and comes with dual speakers.
The biggest highlight is its 11,000mAh battery, which is a significant upgrade from the 8,300mAh battery capacity on last year’s Honor X9d. It supports 80W Honor SuperCharge fast wired charging and it doubles as a powerbank as it supports 27W reverse wired charging.
The X9e Pro boasts improved durability as it carries an SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance in Harsh Conditions certification, with Honor highlighting resistance against drops from up to 3 metres.
It also carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Honor claims the device can withstand water immersion at depths of up to 10 metres under its specified test conditions. The touchscreen also supports Precision Touch for use with wet or gloved hands.
Out of the box, the Honor X9e Pro runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
