Jetour has officially launched the Jetour T2 i-DM in Malaysia. While it might be the 5th Jetour model in our market, it is the first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) offering from Jetour for Malaysia.
First previewed at the KL International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026 back in June, Jetour Auto Malaysia said that the T2 i-DM has amassed over 2,000 bookings prior to its official launch.
Jetour T2 i-DM Malaysia Pricing, Colourway, Warranty
The Jetour T2 i-DM made its way to Malaysia in just one variant for RM162,800, not inclusive of inspection, registration, insurance, and road tax. At the moment, the PHEV can only be obtained in one colour: Highway Grey Matte.
The T2 i-DM is covered by a 7-year / 150,000km vehicle warranty alongside a 10-year / 1,000,000km warranty just for its engine. There’s also an 8-year / 160,000km warranty for its high-voltage battery.

Together with a free Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adapter, the first 2,000 customers of the Jetour T2 i-DM can choose to obtain either a free AC wallbox charger inclusive of installation fee or charging credits worth RM2,000.
Early bird customers can also enjoy additional perks such as interest rates from as low as 1.68% per annum, insurance coverage for the AC wallbox charger, new driver personal liability coverage, and special perils coverage.
Jetour T2 i-DM Quick Specs
From the outside, the Jetour T2 i-DM looks quite identical to the petrol version. In fact, they share the same physical dimensions—being 4,785mm long, 2,006mm wide, and 1,875mm tall alongside a 2,800mm wheelbase.
They also share plenty of features, including leatherette seats, ambient lighting, a 10.3-inch digital instrument display, a 15.6-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and a 12-speaker Sony sound system. The PHEV version also comes with 6 airbags and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite.
However, the T2 i-DM features a different powertrain altogether. Unlike the ICE version, which has an all-wheel drive (AWD) setup, the PHEV version features a front-wheel drive (FWD) setup instead.
The T2 i-DM is powered by a 100kW (134hp) 1.5L turbocharged engine with 220Nm of torque, paired with two electric motors that have a combined output of 165kW (221hp) and 390Nm of torque.
Matched with a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), the T2 i-DM offers a combined maximum output of 265kW (355hp) and 610Nm of torque. As a comparison, the 2.0L turbocharged engine on the petrol T2 churns out 180kW (241hp) and 375Nm of torque.
The PHEV model also gets larger 20-inch wheels, as opposed to the 19-inch wheels on its petrol counterpart.
The T2 i-DM relies on a 70L fuel tank and an 18.4kWh LFP battery, which allows it to deliver an NEDC-rated combined range of up to 1,200km and 139km of pure electric range. In terms of charging, the PHEV supports DC fast charging speeds of up to 57kW and 6.6kW AC charging, while also being capable of powering external appliances through its 3.3kW V2L capability.
