Google has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. All three models are making their way to Malaysia next week and pre-orders are now available.
This year’s Pixel 11 series gets Google’s new Tensor G6 processor, upgraded cameras and redesigned camera bar and more Gemini-powered features. Google is also offering 256GB of storage as standard across the series, while the Pro models can be configured with up to 1TB of storage.
Another notable upgrade is Pixelsnap, Google’s magnetic accessory system which now supports Qi2.2-certified wireless charging at up to 25W across the series. As expected, all Pixel 11 devices ship with Android 17 out of the box and Google is promising 7 years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates.
Google Pixel 11
The Pixel 11 is the base option of the trio, featuring a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 1080 x 2424 resolution and a 60-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and is rated for up to 2,000 nits of HDR brightness and 3,000 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood is Google’s new Tensor G6 processor paired with the Titan M3 security coprocessor. The Pixel 11 comes with 12GB of RAM and is offered with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. Google says the new Tensor G6 delivers up to 20% better power efficiency, 25% faster browsing and 15% faster app loading compared to Tensor G5.
The Pixel 11 still gets a triple-camera setup consisting of a 48MP f/1.7 main camera, a 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and a 10.8MP f/3.1 telephoto camera.
The telephoto camera has optical image stabilisation and it offers 5x optical zoom and up to 30x Super Zoom. The upgraded 48MP main camera with a larger 1/1.56″ sensor which offers 56% better light sensitivity. Up front, there’s a 10.5MP ultra-wide selfie camera with autofocus.
There are several new photography features too, including Magic Capture, Camera Looks and Camera Coach. Magic Capture records video and high-quality photos with a single tap, while Camera Looks lets users create their own photography styles.
Powering the Pixel 11 is a 4,985mAh typical capacity battery, which claims to offer over 30 hours of battery life. 0-55% charge takes about 30 minutes with a compatible 30W or higher USB-C PPS charger. It also supports Pixelsnap Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging at up to 25W.
The Pixel 11 is offered in 4 colours: Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus and Obsidian.
Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL
Moving up the range, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL share most of their hardware, with the main differences being their display sizes, battery capacities and wired charging speeds.
The “smaller” Pixel 11 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with a 1280 x 2856 resolution, while the Pro XL gets a larger 6.8-inch panel pushing 1344 x 2992 pixels. Both support an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate and are rated for up to 2,400 nits HDR and 3,600 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood is Google’s Tensor G6 processor paired with the Titan M3 security coprocessor. The base 256GB model gets 12GB of RAM, while the higher 512GB and 1TB options are paired with 16GB of RAM.
Both Pro models share the same flagship triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP f/1.68 main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and a 48MP f/1.7 ultra-wide camera with autofocus and Macro Focus. There’s also the 48MP f/2.8 telephoto camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, OIS and 5x optical zoom. If you want to get closer, the Pro Zoom can push all the way up to 120x.
For selfies, both models get a 42MP ultra-wide front camera with autofocus.
For video, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL support up to 8K recording at 24 or 30fps with Video Boost. There’s also Pro Stable Video, Night Sight Video and the new Creator Suite, which includes tools such as a teleprompter, Storyboard and improved Speech Enhancement.
Initially rumoured as “Pixel Glow“, one of the new hardware features on the Pro models this year is HiLight. This is essentially an array of ambient LED lights built around the camera flash, that doubles as a dynamic notification light.
When the phone is placed facing down, HiLight can glow in a customised colour when a Favourite Contact calls, allowing you to tell who is calling without picking up the phone. Google says this works with Phone by Google and WhatsApp.
HiLight also integrates with Gemini, providing soft visual pulses to indicate when Gemini is listening, thinking or responding during hands-free interactions.
The Pixel 11 Pro packs a 4,850mAh typical battery, which is actually slightly smaller than the 4,985mAh unit on the regular Pixel 11. It can get up to 55% charge in about 30 minutes. The bigger Pixel 11 Pro XL gets a 5,115mAh battery and can reach up to 75% in about 30 minutes with a compatible 45W USB-C PPS charger. Both support Pixelsnap Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging at up to 25W.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL are available in Canyon, Olive, Fog and Obsidian.
New Gemini Intelligence features
Beyond the hardware upgrades, Google has introduced more Gemini Intelligence features on the Pixel 11 series. Powered by Tensor G6 and Google’s on-device Gemini models, the feature is designed to understand the context of what you’re doing across apps and proactively surface useful information without switching to another app.
For example, if a friend messages you asking whether you’re free for dinner, Gemini Intelligence can suggest checking your Calendar availability directly within the chat. If someone sends you a restaurant suggestion, it can surface a Maps preview showing photos of popular dishes, reviews and navigation options without requiring you to leave the conversation.
There’s also Rambler, a new voice input feature built into Gemini Intelligence. You can speak naturally and it can remove filler words such as “um” or “ahh”. Instead of manually fixing the transcription, you can use a follow-up prompt to refine or reformat the text before sending it.
Google has also expanded Live Translate on the Pixel 11 series to translate supported videos, podcasts and voice messages as you watch or listen.
Circle to Search feature has been expanded and it can now be accessed directly from the Pixel Camera. This lets you to identify objects, translate text or search for things around you without first taking a photo.
Google Pixel 11 Malaysia Pricing and Availability
The Google Pixel 11 series is priced in Malaysia as follows:

- Pixel 11 Pro XL – from RM5,999 (256GB)
Pre-orders have started in Malaysia yesterday evening on 12 August 2026. The devices will be officially available in Malaysia starting 20th August.
The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL will be available via CelcomDigi, Maxis, Urban Republic, Senheng, Shopee online, U Mobile and Thundermatch.
Buyers of the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL also get six months of Google AI Pro at no additional cost.
