Astro customers can catch the coverage of the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026, thanks to RTM. The national public broadcaster today announced not only that it is the official broadcaster of the event but also that its sports channel, Sukan+, is now available on Astro channel 806.
Astro has also said that its customers can catch RTM’s coverage of Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026 via TV Okey on channel 146. This is following the announcement on 26 June that RTM and Astro have decided to continue their partnership, which has existed for 30 years.
Just a month before, it was reported that RTM is pulling out from Astro due to pricing and contract disagreements, although neither party has officially confirmed this. RTM’s TV1 and TV2 have been part of Astro since 1996, while TV Okey joined the lineup in 2009.
In addition to Sukan+, Berita RTM is also now available on Astro through channel 505 as part of the renewed partnership. Not to forget, RTM radio stations including NAS FM, Sabah V FM, Wai FM, Traxx FM, Minnal FM, Ai FM, and Asyik FM are now back on Astro.
